Sunset on Mars is blue. The reason is that the large dust particles in the Martian atmosphere scatter the blue portion of sunlight in one direction but the red portion of it in a broader formation. Therefore blue light appears concentrated and is 6 times as intense as red light. Thus sunset and sunrise on Mars are blue.
