Maybe just maybe
the words that devoured their hearts would go unnoticed
As if that shadow that held them high once
was destroyed by reality
Destruction they never wanted to feel
Destruction is what these words caused
Destruction they could never forget or forgive
but they thought “truth be told”
They aren’t helpless
They aren’t weak
They are just imprisoned by words they don’t tend to speak
for they suffer and they cherish memories
but they’re still called weak
but with that struggle comes their strength
with that pain comes their love
and with that ambition, they carve their dreams
as they slowly reach for the skies above
They stand up and fight for what is right
They find the good and make it better
This is something I wrote for them
people who survive
people who persevere
people who inspire
Through worse and through best
They control that fire
Transfigure it to passion
Embrace their emotions
and use them to admire.
THOUGHTS:
“Don’t let hurtful words put you down build an empire using them, build a personality, build motivation and build hope. Use them and turn them into a dream to be achieved or a mission to show that these words don’t define you. Don’t let these words control you and instead you control them, improve yourself using them, take them into consideration to be the motivation for you to reach the best you can and achieve the best in you. Let them be your inspiration for a better world.”
